Stephen Callender

Stephen "Lavish" Calender hosts the shows "Thanks," "Throne Room Experience," and "Praise Power." Through these powerful broadcasts he hopes to stir you, the listener, to have a passion for God and the things of God. Apart from broadcasting, Stephen has served STARCOM Network for over 19 years as a sales executive. He has been with the Gospel 97.5fm family since its inception.

When Calender isn't on air, he most likely is spending time with his family: A supportive wife, Pauline, and his three children, stepson Amahl, and two daughters Makini and Shukura. If not, he just may be engrossed in a book, "I feel lost without being able to read…," he says. He is also very passionate about Professional Public Speaking.

Stephen is quite a "cool guy," his colleagues say, "I have never seen him angry… indeed a diligent and industrious man."
