Ronnie Clarke

Ronnie "De Announcer" Clarke has been with the gospel 97.5 fm family from its inception and brings a diverse portfolio to the team here at Starcom. He holds the position of program director, broadcaster and singer.

He is the husband of a delightful Donna and father of 4 wonderful kids: Ronnie Jr., Naomi, Nailah, and Raphael. Clarke's non traditional background has contributed a lot to the man he is today. Having had a German artist for a mother and Barbadian-born British army soldier for a father, Ronnie is described by his work colleagues as exuberant, "he is passionate about everything he is involved in… passionate about his faith, passionate about his music and radio." Another declared him to be quite evocative, in that "Ronnie has a bold character…when he speaks you must listen and you want to listen to what he is saying."

The Holy Spirit inspires him in all that he does. Clarke tells us getting saved back in 1998 has been his most important accomplishment yet. He says "it's the best decision that anyone can ever make."
